Have gone all French. I started watching Spiral on Friday and today I started reading the Guillaume Musso book that has been languishing on my bookshelf for quite sometime :-) Vive la France!

It's all about timing...

Circumnavigation training from Port Erin to Niarbyl today it was blowing F5/6 when we got off the water but F6/7 when we finally packed up the boats onto the trailer.

I originally put this display up in straight lines but I couldn't get it perfectly straight so I had to go for deliberately messy!

Hubs sent me a swimming trophy via text message today cos I managed to swim a mile of crawl for the first time ever :-)

Took Bea to Rainbows tonight and on the drive home I thought it was a little quiet in the back....

Dancing and smiling

It was dance awards afternoon today.  Seb proudly displays his medal and certificate and Bea her star dancer award :-)

Marshmallows and sprinkles

Seb and I made some chocolate and sprinkle dipped marshmallows ready for the dance prize giving awards buffet tomorrow :-)

No snow...snow

No snow in Ramsey, Sulby or Ballaugh but as soon as you get to Kirk Michael you find snow...and gale force winds :-(

Training

I am training for an open water swim in June.  Today was my first training session since christmas - I managed 44 lengths of crawl which isn't bad considering that in September 2012 I couldn't manage 2 lengths of crawl consecutively :-)

...no! I am trying to gets my students to use a variety of methods to help the create accurate sentences and paragraphs in French.  

A calf but no cow

This is the Calf of Man it is a small island at the southern tip of the Isle of Man. Very few people set foot on it and even fewer get to circumnavigate it which is what we did to day :-)

A beautiful bunch of flowers

I always used to have flowers in the house.  Since having the children I guess I have just got out of the habit.  My In-laws sent me some money at christmas so that I could buy some flowers - Here they are.  Thank you Sandra and Derek!

Didn't really know what to take a photo of today. Then I got home and Beatrice had been awarded star of the week :-)

Seb watched Bagpuss at playgroup today and insisted that we watched it when we came home from swimming today.  How could I refuse! Fortunately, we managed to find some episodes on You Tube :-)

It's a beautiful sunny day today in Kirk Michael.  Had a lovely walk home from the school run along the railway line 

Hot and spicy

Unsure of what to  cook for dinner,but found we had butternut squash and sweet potato in so hot and spicy soup it was!

Spring Term begins

Back to work today.  All in all, it wasn't too bad, could even be said that I quite enjoyed it :-)
